Super GT/Scud Race is the first Model 3 racer developed by Sega’s highly acclaimed AM2 division. The game runs at 60 fps and features phenomenal graphics, as you can see from the pics below. This looks like it might be able to pass Daytona USA as the best arcade racer ever. Sega expects to release a home version of Super GT/Scud Race by the end of this year. Let’s hope for a quality conversion.Super GT was initially planned as Daytona 2, but it is clearly not a Daytona sequel. Daytona is based on American ‘stock’ cars, Super GT features a more international flair with cars like the Ferrari F40, Maclaren F1, Dodge Viper and Porsche Turbo. Super GT features three courses like Daytona, a beginner, intermediate and expert. The beginner course can be raced in day or night.
